Math

Today in math we learned more about rational expression equations and solving them. its really hard and i understood most of it from the last two days but today i was lost! Oh, and im so glad that we did mental math today, its the highlight of math class.

Im having trouble with multiplying radicals, today for the test i couldnt rememeber the rules for multiplying them, so i did my best and just left the ones i couldnt do. "sigh" oh well, maybe next test i will get them right.

Today in math we learned more about trigonometry and how to do sin and cosin questions. exercieses were assigned to help us students to study for the test tomorrow.

Monday, November 16, 2009

Today in math we learned more about Trigonometry. Right triangles, they are only right triangles is they have a ninty degree angle. oh, there are basically unlimited pythagorean triples.

I dont really understand the rationalizing, so i will have to play the recording and try to figure it out

Conjugates

In math today we learned about conjugates and rationalizing denominators. (agian) which i dont mind, it helps me to understand it better. I will probably do those joke sheets sometime so I can get better marks.

Today we handed in our mental math papers and math ends at ten to twelve today because of the prep rally. "sigh" had some dissapointments in class

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

I really look forward to mental math everyday. It gives me a chance to do math in my head and im not allowed to use a pencil and paper. I find that fun. Plus, it upgrades my marks a little bit.

huraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, today you told us that we wont do out test till next week, thank you, now i have more time to study so i can understand math alot better. Im also thankful that we can correct our tests and get marks for it, that means i can upgrade my marks.

I like the way you are teaching right now, you are doing more questions and explaining them as you go through the steps to do the question, we learned today different ways to evaluate questions, (remember there are many ways to do questions, not just one way.)

We just had a work day in class today, YAY, it means i can do more accelerated math.

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

We also did some of the questions in exercise 21. (hint: the square root of 6 is 6 and 1/2), remember, yesterdays work was on real numbers, just look it up online to see a chart. The chart will be a reddish pink color, and it shows where rationals and irrationals go in the real number system.
Today in math we learned about exponents and their rules. You can rewrite x to the power of three fourths in many different ways, and to convert the raical seven to the power of two thirds, you can rewrite it as seven squared cube rooted.

Monday, October 26, 2009

today in math we learned about rationals and irrationals, and where to place them in a diagram thing, or something like that, we also learned that irrationals are any number that if cubed cannnot be writted down easily or is a decimal that just keeps going.

Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Today in math we learned about three ways to figure out a parrallel lines.

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

It is impossible to tip a three legged piano stool because if there are only three legs, it doesnt matter how high or low you put them, they are on the same plane

Monday, October 19, 2009

Today in math we did hard questions from exercises and mental math, there had to be one question from each row of people

Friday, October 16, 2009

Today in math we learned about something called a truncated (...............................), i dont know the name, but it was interesting and fun, we also learned about linear equations, example, y=mx+b m=slope b=y intercept form
another thing is, standard form, Ax+By+C=0
a trick we learned is a formula, m=-a
-
a b c b
3x+6y+2=0

The more accelerated math you do, the higher your marks could be.
